PLANES, TRAINS AND AUTOMOBILES
This one-story, three-building retail project is located in Ontario, California a mini-cocktail’s throw from Ontario International Airport and adjacent to the railroad tracks. The building is dividing into three distinct smaller building elements, the end buildings being constructed as “wedge” elements in a dark grey metal panel system and steel-framed billboard elements for signage. The center building element is more subdued in a smaller scale and a subtle, pale yellow exterior cement plaster. Two exterior patios are introduced next to the building and contain steel-framed shade structures and glass railing systems to help protect from the often high Ontario winds.
