The Granville-Wilshire Marketplace is located on Wilshire Boulevard near Brentwood, California.  The existing building was a very dated 1980’s building that has been completely re-designed by Landry Design Group of Los Angeles.  Bundy-Finkel Architects served as the Executive Architect and Donnie DeWees was brought on as the Senior Project Manager and Construction Administrator.

The re-design of the project has been conceived as a series of horizontal “stratums” of pure white Corian bands accented by stainless steel bands at various intervals.  A sleek bridge element connects the two sides of the building while a glass tower element has been introduced at the existing elevator tower.  Glass column covers help convey the idea of the “stratums” as floating elements while two distinct water features at the ground level provide for tranquil spots of restpid amongst the hustle and bustle just outside along Wilshire Boulevard.
