This unique conference room table was inspired by the surrounding environment of the Back Bay of Newport Beach where Robbins Jorgensen Christopher Architects office was established in 2001.  Shaped by famous local surfboard shaper, Robert “Russell” Brown, the design idea of the surfboard conference room informed other motifs such as sail cloth shading devices below the skylights in the conference room and stainless steel cleats were re-purposed as the door pull hardware.
