Ventura County Fire Protection District Station #42 is in the Historic District of Old Towne Moorpark. We used brick, pre-cast concrete, and exposed steel arches to give a contemporary interpretation of an old downtown fire station to this 8,000 S.F., two-bay facility. The front of the station, facing High Street, the “Main Street” of Moorpark, is marked by the introduction of a clock tower, which gives the fire station a civic presence within the fabric of the historic district.
Size: 8,000 S.F. 2 Bays
Budget: $2.6 Million
