Located along busy Main Street in the heart of Santa Ana, California…Wash Tank Express is a revisioning of the existing classic old car wash building. The existing wash tunnel was enclosed and the two tower elements were introduced at the entry and exit of the wash tunnel creating two attention-grabbing visual elements. The towers are constructed with a translucent storefront glazing system and a decorative metal screen element which provides the car wash with ample signage opportunities along the busy street frontage. The remaining architectural elements, painted in a bright blue also draw attention to the building.
DeWees Design has collaborated with Bundy-Finkel Architects from 2006 – 2010 and again from 2016 – 2019. Together they have completed several Retail, Commercial, Residential, Express Car Wash and Themed Entertainment projects throughout Southern California.
