This proposed micro-brewery, tasting room and restaurant is located in an existing one-story commercial building located on the edge of the residential and commercial areas of the City of Santa Ana, California. The primary design gesture is the introduction of a bright blue steel saw-toothed roof structure that provides both shade and protection from the elements in a rich outdoor dining experience. Festive Festoon Lighting is draped on the underside of the steel structure while raised planters constructed of wooden beer cases and steel mesh and large stone gabion walls further define the space while providing a separation from both the parking lot and the street beyond.
