Themed after the idea of cartoon characters living in the cartoon woods, the rides and attractions of this land consist of a restaurant themed after a “Tavern in the Woods” and a tea cup style ride themed as “Honey Pots”spinning underneath a decorative gazebo in the woods with honey dripping from all around the ceiling seemingly on to the riders below.
Donnie worked for a world-renowned international themed entertainment company with Cotton-Fontana Architects for a 5.5 billion-dollar theme park in Shanghai, China. Donnie served as the Senior Project Manager for an eventual 50-person firm and worked on three different themed “lands”. Donnie spent most of the first six months of 2013 in Shanghai assisting the local architectural firms, referred to as L.D.I.’s (Local Design Institutes), with the completion of the Construction Documents Phase of the project.
