The design of Fire Station #56 in Malibu, California, which is located right on Pacific Coast Highway facing the magnificent Pacific Ocean, drew it’s inspiration from the lifeguard stations that dot the beaches up and down the beaches in Malibu.  The conference table was designed to be a “gift” to the dedicated fire fighters of Station #56 by the architectural firm.  The table was shaped by legendary Becker Surfboards in Hermosa Beach, California.
