COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES DEPARTMENT OF CHILDREN AND FAMILY SERVICES – FACILITY ADA SURVEY

The County of Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services – Facility ADA Survey was a comprehensive survey conducted to document the facilities percentage of compliance with the American Disabilities Act of 1990. The facility is a two-story, 67,000 GSF building located in Santa Fe Springs which serves hundreds of families in Los Angeles County.
Donnie DeWees completed this project while a consulting Project Design Director and Senior Project Manager for another firm.
PROJECT SCOPE OF WORK:
- Photographic documentation of entire exterior of facility including all required ADA Parking and Path of Travel to Public Right of Way.
- Photographic documentation of the entire interior of the facility.
- Conduct detailed On-Site Field Investigation and ADA Survey of all public spaces of the facility.
- Generate Floor Plan Diagrams for all floors of facility documenting all current ADA conditions.
- Generate a Comprehensive ADA Accessibility Status Report and determine the percentage of completion.
- Issue and Executive Summary of all work conducted.
