This shell building for Fountainhead Development Inc. is located in Rialto, Califonia at the intersection of the 210 freeway and Riverside Ave. The building is conceived as a basic retail “box” further delineated by the introduction of a tower element marking the front entry and front patio of the building and a secondary tower element marking the drive-thru window facing the primary street.
The building is designed as a rich, yet cost-effective earth-tone palette of cultured stone at the base of the building and cream, tan and chocolate brown exterior cement plaster colors. Both the front entry and the exterior patio are marked by suspended steel canopies creating a focal point at the entries as well as a shade structure for the exterior patio.
